Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Do you want to live a life that is pleasing to God? If so, you must remember that life is not a short run or sprint, but a long run like a marathon. Are you one of those people who do not give up easily, or are you quick to give up when the going gets tough? If you developed the habit of giving up at the first sign of trouble, it's probably time for you to have a heart-to-heart talk with the person you see in the mirror everyday (that's you!).
Jesus finished what he began, and so should you. Despite His suffering, despite the shame of the cross, Jesus was never gave up on His faithfulness to God. You, too, must remain faithful, especially when times are tough.
Do you want to build a closer relationship with God? Then don't give up. And if you are facing a difficult problem, remember this: whatever your problem, God can handle it!
